What the reviewers are saying:
Originally published in the 1970s under an alternate title, Rod Palmer's
Familia Affair has been newly released as one of the first
in a line of novels deemed "erotisex fantasy" by the publisher. Familia Affair's
explosively sexual energy is set in an era that precedes the AIDS epidemic
but follows Stonewall. Thus, a panorama of literary pornography is reborn.
Rick works as a copy runner for the New York Times. During
one of his casual visits to a local bar, he encounters Marco. Marco is the
epitome of the "Italian stallion"bronzed skin, chiseled body, and an
11 inch cock. Rick instantly connects to Marco, who is the leader of a gay
activist group. What Rick doesn't know, but soon comes to realize, is that
Marco has an identical twin named Paulo, and that the two brothers are part
of a Mafia-style family headed by their father. Rick finds himself attracted
to the counterpart of Marco and, as he falls into the erotic lull of the
brothers' lustful desires, he discovers a life of erotically charged fantasy
mimicking that of a would-be gay Sopranos plot.
Incorporating theories of falling in love, light mob
lifestyle and gay activism, Familia Affair is, ultimately,
about sex. It boldly and explicitly portrays erotic scenes involving incest,
threesomes, self-sucking and sadomasochism. The freely written, fierce sex
scenes (presented on practically every other page) are enough to keep the
reader's cock at its hardest. The notion of the twin characters, Marco and
Paulo, may surely trigger the sexual fantasies of many readers.
If one is searching for a plot-oriented novel,
Familia Affair is the last place to look. Instead, it is an
immodest book of unabashed desire, down-and-dirty sex, and a fearless portrayal
of lust before an era of worry. It is a fantasy that will grab hold of the
reader and make them cum begging for more!

Handjobs and pissplay, ass-rimming and monster cocks, toned muscles
slick with sweat and hard thighs coated with cum, even the turn-ons of identical
twin hunks and heavy Daddy-son incest: Familia Affair, set
in a not-so-long-ago era when "Gay Pride" was more than a marketing slogan
for vodka, is a hot read for most every taste. Palmer's one-handed erotic
artifact also provides an amusing Sopranos-lite plot about mob families,
gay activism, and falling deeply in love, threaded through page after page
of sizzling raw sex - it's a fast and fun synthesis of accomplished
anthropological porn and sweet, almost Puritan, romance.

Gay New York was awakening in the 1970s and what a joy it would have been
to awaken with two Marco/Paolo studs as happened to Rod Palmer's Rick in
Familia Affair. Look, Ma, no hands! And no Viagra needed!
